A Rose By Any Other Name Would Smell As Sweet...

St. Therese is the saint of love, healing, anxiety and mental afflictions but also for a whole boat load of other instances including when one is near death or dying.

Before she passed on she said that her real life's mission would begin after her death..that she would let fall from heaven a shower of roses.

When she is with you or intervenes roses (we're talking people with the name, fake ones, her card or email getting sent to you, roses be given to you out of nowhere..the scent of roses..it goes on and on ) is the way that she gently lets you know she has heard you're request and is answering it.

She always believed in the little way meaning doing every action with love and that no action was ever small.

There a few ways you can petition her for help...they say that doing her novena is preferable especially the traditional way where you say the novena to her, followed by 5 Our Father's, 5 Hail Mary's and 5 Glory Be's all before 11AM for 5 days. On the 5th and final day you offer another set of the 5 Our Father's Haily Mary's and Glory Be's. Many report quick miracles and intervention choosing this way but others have had great success with just reciting the novena below. Just have a little faith.

There is also another way you can contact her that is very simple. Just talk to her from the heart. She believed so much in prayer and doing it with love so if you can't say the novena for any reason or forget she won't give you roses with thorns. Just let her know what's going on and she will send roses to you too.

My Novena Rose Prayer

O Little Therese of the Child Jesus,
please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens
and send it to me as a message of love.

O Little Flower of Jesus,
ask God to grant the favors I now place
with confidence in your hands . .

(Mention specific requests)

St. Therese, help me to always believe
as you did in God's great love for me,
so that I might imitate your "Little Way" each day.

Amen.

St. Anthony the Jewel Sleuth..A Sentimental Saint

The following is a real account from Best Selling Author, TV Personality, Radio Talk Show Host, Psychic/Medium Astrologer (aside from her other jobs) Joyce Keller. This is an especially warm tale of how caring St. Anthony is even for priceless possessions.

St. Anthony really does find and return things to us! I lost a very sentimental and valuable piece of jewelry that my mother gave me..it was gone for over a year...I even ran ads in local papaers, without any response. I realized that I lost it when I was on a trip to Florida, and resigned myself to never seeing it again.  Then, one night, when I got up to go to the bathroom, around 3 am, a little voice told me to look in a certain drawer...a drawer that I had emptied and checked many times...I reluctantly looked where the voice told me to look, and guess what?!!  There it was. Yes...I knew that St. Anthony had gone to get it for me, and had returned it to me.  xoxox Joyce Keller

St. Anthony: What Once Was Lost Now is Found

The following story is real and happened to a person I know very well. Before the story is the Novena that was used. You can always be sincere and ask St. Anthony (especially if you need to find a parking spot or find key) the rhyming prayer I learned from my 4th grade teacher in Catholic School: "Tony, Tony, look around something's lost (mention it) and must be found!" Keep saying this til you find it. You can also
just say St. Anthony I really need your help to find such and such..he is like a GPS.

Oh most glorious St. Anthony, miraculous saint! You who have helped so many, I need your
help in this matter (fill in what it is.) In my hand I hold your image as I ask that you make sure
justice is fair to me. Comfort me in this hour of need, grant my petition with trust, Amen. (Make the sign of the Cross)

St. Anthony..what once was lost now is found.

I hadn't thought novenas did very much and to be honest had forgotten
a lot about my Catholic faith and became very cynical. Yeah, right I thought.
Saints can't help you and who knows if they really existed. I was skeptical
about everything and especially when it came to using a novena.

My mom had been missing stickers for a few months that were
from a dear friend in Japan and also a paper for my brother's
blood work that he had to get done. She couldn't find them anywhere.
Don't ask what made me turn to St. Anthony but I figured I had nothing to lose if it didn't
work since they had been missing and no one could find them. I began
the novena and looked at his image asking him each day to help me
or my mom find those stickers.

On the fifth day I had a strong sense of where to look. I went into
the closet and opened up a white dresser in the first draw and I couldn't
believe when I actually saw them there...I thought, "No...that can't be them."
But it was...they were found. I also go the bonus of pulling out another bag
and that blood work paper seemed to jump out...the other missing piece.
St. Anthony also led me to another lost item that I hadn't even asked him
for help with. We had looked in other places and never not once did we search
that closet or piece of storage unit.

I am still amazed at what happened and I'm here to say not only does
St. Anthony work, he exists, he cares and is a very nice fellow with a
sense of humor.

To anyone looking for any missing person, item, or needing to find
a job or solution..ask St. Anthony for help.

Thanks St. Anthony for what you did. You helped me to also find
my faith that was lost.

Why A Saint Anyway?

So you might be wondering what is all the publicity about saints? Why do need them...truth be told you don't but there's a reason you should make them your buddies.

You see even though they are saints their lives on earth were just as challenging since they were ::gasp:: human! So they know that life is anything but a halo. Each saint has their specialty, their victories, their heartbreaks...but they are applicable for everyone. They were on Earth so they can fathom and have a better understanding of what it is to be human living here.

You can choose whatever saint you want or whatever one might be calling to you...and it's okay to to have more saint then one (they won't get too envious). Some saints will stay with you and others might pass through during times when you need their expertise. Get ready to be part of the saints inner circle..well, sort of.

However, sometimes the saints will come through in diverse modalities depending upon who you are, your background, life lessons, etc. They can send you visual cues, physical ones (like cards or emails with their images or quotes..) someone mentioning their name or as they say a calm after the storm.
